A maximum of 2 dozen eggs (of any chicken breed combination) can fit per box and that is the maximum that can ship on any given day. IF YOU ORDER MORE THAN 2 DOZEN, YOU NEED TO PLACE A SEPARATE ORDER BECAUSE THE EXTRA BOX IS AN EXTRA SHIPPING CHARGE. If you order too many eggs for a single order, I will have to bill the difference. Thank you!
If you want beautiful birds that you can take to show, you’ve come to the right place. We BREED FOR SOP! My flock does include a few BLUE Copper hens, so you may have a few blue biddies in your bunch.
All of our hens lay 5-7 (and occasionally 8) shade eggs EARLY IN THEIR CYCLE in order to remain in our breeding program. However, the hens are all at different stages of their cycles at any given time. The eggs you receive are what is laid when it is your turn, they may be as light as 4’s to as dark as 8’s.

* 11/21/20 Anderson, SC. We made it to champion row with our 2020 pullet! BB, BV AND BEST CONTINENTAL! Her sisters also placed right behind her. There was lots of competition.
*12/7/2019 Main cockerel in breeder pen is still undefeated after taking 1st for sex/age at the Dixie Classic, another HUGE poultry show and The Marans Club National meet. Our other Cockerel placed 3rd and two pullets placed 2nd and 5th!!!
*11/9/2019 Sire of most chicks produced WON Ohio Nationals!! 1st place (out of 10)in Black Copper Cockerels (and cocks) and RESERVE CHAMPION in Black Copper Variety! This was also the MARANS CHICKEN CLUB USA NATIONAL MEET
*Some chicks will be sired by another big winner at a regional meet (1st, RV, RB) Cock bird.
Each egg is placed In its own BUBBLE AND/OR FOAM pouch and packed pointy side down in the box. Eggs are double boxed in DURABLE boxes, not flimsy free priority boxes. I purchase almost all of my packing supplies to ensure safe delivery!

Due to conditions outside of my control (postal handling, incubation techniques, equipment, ETC.), we DO NOT guarantee hatch rates. Fertility has been great at 95-100%
Eggs are EXPERTLY packed in foam pouches, pointy side down and DOUBLE BOXED in 200# rated boxes-not free flimsy priority boxes.
Shipped by USPS Priority. We cannot guarantee eggs will arrive as scheduled once they leave our hands. If you would like expedited, guaranteed delivery dates, please contact us to discuss additional fees to your area. WE DO NOT GIVE REFUNDS IF YOUR EGGS DO NOT ARRIVE ON TIME- BY CHOOSING PRIORITY SHIPPING, YOU ASSUME THE RISK OF LATE SHIPMENTS AS PRIORITY DOES NOT GUARANTEE DELIVERY DATES. We will reship, for the cost of shipping IF they are in transit more than 10 days.
Here are some tips for best hatching results make sure you store this information:
1) Let’s settle for 24 hours pointy side down at room temp.
2) after 24 hours put them in your incubator. DO NOT TURN EGGS FOR 3 FULL DAYS..... MINIMUM.
3) after three days candle eggs and a check for loose air cells. Any that are stable can begin turning.
4) Any eggs that air cells are still detached, do not turn and check every 24 hours for up to a week total.
